CEPI is networking: Dutch real estate professionals visit their italian colleagues

At the beginning of October, 41 property professionals, members of the “Nederlandse Vereniging van Makelaars in onroerende Goederen en Vastgoeddeskundigen” (NVM) travelled to Rome for a study trip based on the theme of “older properties versus new constructions”. This initiative was the result of a successful collaboration between the NVM and the Federazione Italiana Mediatori Agenti d’Affari” (FIMAA) and represents a perfect example of the CEPI network in operation.

The Dutch property professionals particularly appreciated the welcome they received, whilst highlighting their interest in information about and an introduction to the Italian economy, and more particularly the property market in Rome and the surrounding region: price developments, transactions, tax measures in force, etc.

The trip also included a visit to interesting as well as innovative projects; such as the Citta del Sole (Parsitalia), the site “Nuvola Construction”, the Eurosky Tower, the MAXXI Museum and the Tiburtina Station: by way of contrast, and by way of illustration of older properties, the group benefited from a visit to the EUR quarter (Esposizione Universale di Roma) and several sites forming part of the city’s cultural and historical heritage, accompanied by specialist guides.

The programme of the visit was put together thanks to the collaboration of the NVM and the FIMAA, but also the Dutch Embassy in Rome as well as the AREL (Associazione Real Estate Ladies) and de Pontecorvi Mannaerts & Triboldi.
