Sustainable Buildings in the Recovery - webinar

width=On the 18th September, the Secretariat attended the “Sustainable Buildings in the Recovery” webinar organized by Eurogypsum, the European federation representing the gypsum product manufacturing industry.
The main focus of the event was the debate around how to build and renovate buildings in view of efficiency and sustainability, especially in the light of the current Covid-19 crisis and its impact on the construction sector, as well as the European Green Deal and Renovation Wave Initiative.

The webinar, hosted by Mr Emmanuel Normant, President of Eurogypsum, enlisted the following panelists: Ms Josefina Lindblom from the European Commission, DG Environment and responsible for the work on "sustainable buildings", and MEP Ms Iskra Mihaylova, member of the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy, among others, in the European Parliament.
