In the first session, two honorable members of the European Parliament, MEP Mr. Sandro Gozi (Renew Europe) and MEP Mr. Patrick Breyer (Green), shared with the participants their views on the Digital Services Act, a European initiative aiming at strengthening the Single Market for digital products and fostering the innovation and competitiveness of the European online environment. The first session was concluded by Mr. Pau Garcia Audi, Policy Officer from the European Commission (Directorate General Energy), who shed a light upon the functioning and development of the Smart Readiness Indicator, which will allow for rating the readiness of buildings in terms of their capability to adapt their operations to the needs of the occupant and in response to signals from the grid.

In the second session of the event, the CEPI digital tool-box was presented, which consists of several digital tools that will help real estate agents and property managers to carry out their activities in a smarter and more digitalised way. Several experts in the field of digital solutions for agents and managers demonstrated to participants their latest creations, including Mr. Filip Pharrel (OFFR - https://offr.io/), Mr. Daniel Levarsky (City Performer - https://cityperformer.com/), Mr. Franky Deleu (Oris nv - https://www.orisnv.be/), Mr. Yavuz Bahadir (Proximus Enterprise API Solution - https://www.proximus.be), Mr. Paul McCourtney (DGP Ireland - http://www.propolicies.com/) and Mr. Jan Louis De Bruyn (Netropolix - https://www.netropolix.be/en).
