Intelligent Cities Challenge – URBAN Intergroup, online event


On March 26, the CEPI Secretariat joined the online seminar Intelligent City Challenge (ICC) organised by the URBAN Intergroup. 

The discussion, introduced and moderated by MEP Mr. Jan Olbrycht, President of the URBAN Intergroup, and Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) co-rapporteur, focused on the presentation of the Intelligent Cities Challenge, a European Commission’s initiative which aims to bring together 136 cities to achieve intelligent, socially responsible and sustainable growth through advanced technologies. 
 

Speakers of the seminar also included: Mme. Valentina Superti, Director of Tourism & Proximity at the Directorate General (DG) for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs of the European Commission; Mr. Mohamed Ridouani, Mayor of Leuven, Belgium; Mr. Akim Oural, Deputy Mayor of Lille and Delegate Counsellor of Lille Metropole, France; Mr. Piero Pelizzaro, Chief Resilience Officer and Sharing Cities City Lead in Milan, Italy; Mr. Marcos Ros Sempere, Member of the URBAN Intergroup.
