On November 30, 2021, the Secretariat attended the event “How can SMEs thrive post-pandemic in a digitalised world?” organized by Euractiv.
The event mainly focused on the Digital Services Act (DSA) as one of the most important updates in more than twenty years concerning Europe’s digital rules. This new regulation will be key to enabling SMEs to thrive in the post-pandemic world, characterized by an acceleration of digitalization and a big shift in consumers behaviour into a more digital approach. Speakers also debated around the importance of clear and easy-to-implement regulation and the need of boosting digital skills in Europe. Digital tools for SMEs are key to boosting Europe's recovery after the pandemic.
