17th ERES Education Seminar "Blended learning: Lessons from Covid.” - online seminar

On December 3, the PTC Education of CEPI attended the online event "Blended learning: Lessons from Covid", organised by the European Real Estate Society (ERES).

The ERES Education Seminar is held in December of each year and is organized by academics from within the ERES Network at a host university in Europe. This year, participants discussed the best ways of strengthening education in the real estate sector across Europe, especially by taking into consideration both challenges and opportunities stemming from the pandemic. During the panel discussion, our PTC Education Chair, Ms Claudine Speltz, and our Regulatory Advisor, Ms Lucia Verardi, held a presentation on CEPI's educational programme Eureduc.

Today, education and training from universities, professional training institutes and CEPI member associations are the main way for a future real estate professional to get into the profession. Professional qualification is thus a major challenge for professionals if they wish to stay aware of the needs of the market and to ensure the quality of their services to consumers. Eureduc constitutes a fundamental project to harmonise educational requirements in the real estate sector across Europe, build a solid community of European alumni and to establish a bridge between the academic and the professional world.
