EU funded projects: the key to bridging the digital skills gap in Europe – webinar

On Tuesday, April 26th, the Secretariat of CEPI joined the webinar on the Digital Skills Gap in Europe organized by Digital Skills & Jobs Platform of the European Commission.

The webinar presented the most outstanding initiatives by training providers, businesses and civil society organisations which support the European effort to bridge the digital skills gap. Training providers are in fact helping the European Commission reach the 80% target of the European population with basic digital skills. They presented their experiences on how they delivered their trainings to specific groups of people. During the event, panellists had the chance to introduce former trainees who explained more in detail how this digital training benefited them in their work and personal life.

Among the participants were Jakub Kajtman from the Commission, Giorgi Pedrazzi from EU4Hubs, Dr. Fitisilis Panagiolis from DevOps (Smart Cities), Gabriela Ruseva from ICT4Elderly, Altheo Valentini, from Social Hackademy, and Paula Queipo Rodriguez from SAM - Sector Skills Strategy in Additive Manufacturing (Industry).
