CEPI member organizations engage in European wide events

CEPI member organizations have started to collect experiences and benchmark-results from different kinds of events, in order to consider and build firm cornerstones of new events for real estate professionals within their country. KVKL (Finland) and FNAIM (France) took it a step further and decided to set up events that integrate an international dimension and perspective.    

The Fédération nationale de l’immobilier FNAIM did set up the second edition of the European Forum Networking Days which took place in Paris from December 5 to 7, 2010.
The aim of the Forum is to help industry organizations from throughout Europe to create alliances, partnerships and business opportunities for their affiliates.
The two day event included special conferences on a variety of topics, among which:
• New information and communication technologies for real estate professionals
• Partnering with French real estate professionals
• Think tank discussions on the future of the real estate industry – regulation, government advocacy, professional image, sustainable development, etc.

For its part, the Central Federation of Finnish Real Estate Agencies KVKL starts to seek possibilities to build up a new major international conference-event in Finland. It entered the international scene this year by organizing two major events for Finnish and other international-minded audiences. Both experiences revealed particularly encouraging.

The initiative also builds on Nordic cooperation initiatives. A few weeks ago, KVKL hosted a Nordic meeting in Helsinki , which started a new cooperation within the field of mutual studies in housing market. The results of this cooperation - named Nordic Housing Insight - have been widely published and quoted in the media. It has been easy for us to jump to a sliding sledge, after others have made excellent testing”, said Jukka Malila.

The next major event organized by KVKL will take place on 23 March 2011, in collaboration with Kiinko - Real Estate Education.
