CEPI informs about a new discussion forum for real estate professionals: re.comm12
re.comm12 is a new event for the international real estate sector and takes place in Kitzbühel from 5 to 7 December 2012. Limited to only a few places, CEOs, managing directors and top managers from the worldwide property sector will meet in order to develop ideas and visions together with high-ranking keynote speakers from the fields of business, future/science and ethics. This initiative is supported by the austrian CEPI member organization "Fachverband der Immobilien und Vermögenstreuhänder (FIV).
“The confrontation with what might at first glance appear to be utterly alien input from business, science, art, culture and philosophy sharpens the sensibility for new thoughts and solution strategies. This input will be provided by re.comm, along with the opportunity for direct reflection with colleagues from all over Europe, all of whom face similar challenges. The result I expect is a firework of ideas, which will benefit everyone in the future,” says Reinhard Einwaller, Managing Director of epmedia Werbeagentur GmbH and initiator of re.comm.
Three renowned people from the real estate sector form the Advisory Board of re.comm. This board supports the event organizers in selecting the speakers and topics and contributes to the exclusive and unmistakable character of the event. It consists of Christoph Stadlhuber, Managing Director of Signa Holding, Martin Sabelko, Chair of CBRE Global Investors CEE, and Philipp Kaufmann, President of ÖGNI.
“I think re.comm is a fantastic idea for our sector. The concept is that it will not be a conventional real estate event – not “more of the same” – filled with reciprocal backslapping in congratulating the professionalism of each individual. Yet it certainly will be a networking event at a very high level. Participants will learn about new trends from other fields of business, enabling them to create visions. And hopefully they will leave re.comm at the end of the 3 days with the feeling that that is precisely what they have gained – a new vision,” says Sabelko.
An essential factor in the success of re.comm 12 is the quality of the speakers, who appear in this form at such an event for the very first time. At present the appearance of personalities such as Jacques Attali, economist and long-term advisor to the French president François Mitterrand, Tomáš Sedláček, author and head economist of the commercial Czech bank CSOB have already been confirmed, Kjell Nordström, economic expert bestselling author and business consultant, Anton Zeilinger, Austrian quantum physicist, Mojib Latif, qualified meteorologist, doctor of oceanography and Professor of Ocean Circulation and Climate Dynamics, Frank Schirrmacher, German journalist, essayist, author and since 1994 the co-editor of the Frankfurter Allgemeinen Zeitung have already been confirmed.
