Leveraging the skills of building professionals to deliver on the European Green Deal - online event

On 9 December the CEPI Secretariat participated in an online event organised by BUILD UP on "Leveraging the skills of building professionals to deliver on the European Green Deal".
Representatives from the European Commission and the Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, as well as from the private sector discussed policy issues related to the Skills Agenda and the Renovation Wave Initiative. It was emphasised that new skills sets will be required for all actors in the lifecycle which will involve education and training to meet the upcoming challenges in the building sector. Real estate professionals have a crucial role to play in the delivery of energy saving measures and CEPI looks forward to further policy recommendations and priorities for the funding of skills.
